Gas prices are dropping. According to Gas-Buddy, the average price nationwide is three-02 a gallon. It’s dropped more than six-cents over just the past week, and more than 14-cents from just a year ago. We could soon see it drop below three-bucks for the first time in years. The drop comes with the seasonal transition from summer-to-winter-grade fuel, and gas inventories are higher. California has the highest price at four-66 a gallon, while Oklahoma has the lowest at two-57. Here in Blair County the average cost of a gallon of gas is three-dollars and 25 cents.
