A death investigation is underway in Johnstown’s West End after a man’s body was discovered yesterday morning along railroad tracks near Pennsylvania and Delaware Avenues. A Norfolk Southern conductor found the body. According to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, the man had facial injuries, and has not yet been identified. He is described as being in his 30s with tattoos of “Mason” and “Ethan” on his left forearm, and a skull on his left hand. Multiple authorities, including the Cambria County District Attorney, and Johnstown Police Chief, responded to the scene, as the death is being treated as suspicious. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the deceased man.
