A health clinic for people and their pets is taking place this weekend in Centre County. State Representative Paul Takac, Centre County PAWS, and Penn State are hosting a “People, PAWS and PSU: A Health Clinic for Dogs, Cats and Their Humans” event this Sunday, October 19, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Howard United Methodist Church. The clinic will offer low-cost pet vaccinations and microchipping, free flu shots for people, information on ticks, and access to state resources. Pet owners are reminded to make sure cats are brought in a carrier, and dogs must be leashed.
