Shavers Creek To Temporaily Close

Effective Monday, Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center in Huntingdon County will be closed to the public intermittently through the fall and winter, as it begins a multi-phase construction project.  The initiative will expand the visitor parking lot and improve existing stormwater mitigation infrastructure.  Improvements aim to enhance visitor accessibility and redirect stormwater runoff.  The project will progress through stages, beginning with tree removal, followed by paving, and concluding with the installation of new drainage basins.
