Former Blair County attorney, Michael Cohen, received his sentence yesterday after pleading guilty to theft charges for stealing $60,000 from clients. The theft caused a Bedford County couple to lose their home in a property dispute that Cohen was hired to handle. As punishment, Cohen was sentenced to 180 days of house arrest, and five years of probation. He must also pay $10,000 in restitution to the family, along with court costs. Cohen also faces other open cases in Blair County for alleged forgery, and tampering with public records.
