It’s Election Day and voters across the commonwealth will elect candidates to fill a wide range of municipal roles. Statewide voters will also weigh in on candidates for the Commonwealth and Superior Courts, and decide whether to retain three Democratic State Supreme Court justices. Those three justices include Kevin Dougherty, David Wecht, and Christine Donohue. If Republicans succeed in their goal of getting Pennsylvanians to vote “no,” they could set the stage for a total remaking of the court. Polls opened at 7:00 this morning and close tonight at 8:00.
