All four Republican incumbents were re-elected to the Altoona City Council, defeating the single Democratic challenger according to unofficial results. The winning council members attributed their success to following the new comprehensive plan, “Altogether Altoona,” which focuses on addressing blighted properties through demolition, rehabilitation, and new construction. David Ellis led in votes, followed by Bruce Kelly, Ron Beatty and Dave Butterbaugh, defeating Devin Saylor.
