Wind Advisory Issued For Central And Western PA

It’s expected to be a windy afternoon and night in our area.  A wind advisory is in effect across the region from 1 p.m. today through 7 a.m. tomorrow.  Officials say gusts could reach up to 45 miles-per hour.  Residents are advised to secure items that could be blown away by the high winds.  As a result of the high winds, an elevated risk of wildfire spread is also possible.  Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potential ignition sources.
