Hollidaysburg borough residents could face their first property tax increase in over five years, as the borough council is considering raising millage rates to address escalating expenses.  At a budget workshop on Tuesday evening, Borough Manager Ethan Imhoff reportedly  highlighted the need for a $250,000 investment to upgrade the six borough-owned parks to contemporary standards.  The council discussed methods for a potential millage increase, but ultimately decided to continue the conversation at a second budget workshop on November 13 at 6 p.m., an hour before the regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m.
