A 39-year-old Lancaster County man, accused of kidnapping his six children after learning they were going to be taken by Children and Youth Services, was later apprehended in Cambria County. Elizabethtown Police say Robert Christensen was informed Wednesday that CYS was going to take emergency custody after a report the children, who are ages 4-11, were being abused. Christensen then allegedly took the kids and tried to flee, but they were found later in Ebensburg by state police. He faces six counts of kidnapping, interfering with child custody, and obstructing justice. Christensen is currently in the Lancaster County Prison, in lieu of bail.
