The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is beginning its journey to New York City. A 75-foot-tall, eleven-ton Norway Spruce is being donated by the Russ family in the community of East Greenbush, New York which is just south of Albany. It was cut-down on Thursday. It will be hoisted at the plaza on Saturday and lit up December 3rd.
