Yesterday President Donald Trump reiterated a promise on his social media platform, Truth Social that a tariff dividend of at least $2,000 would be paid to most Americans. The payments would be for all, but “high income people” and funded by U.S. tariff revenues, which Trump says were bringing in “Trillions of Dollars”. Reportedly, any such plan would likely need congressional approval.
