A 75-year-old woman died, and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Jacksonville Road and the I-80 interchange in Centre County on Friday afternoon. According to the Spring Township Police Department, the collision occurred when a Jaguar station wagon, traveling near the I-80 interchange, turned left in front of a Ford F-350 that was traveling south and towing a camper. The passenger of the Jaguar, a 75-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jaguar sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the Ford pickup truck was not injured in the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
