A Sandy Ridge man is behind bars after he allegedly attacked another man during a domestic dispute in Rush Township, Centre County on Sunday evening. Police arrested 39-year-old Natthan Carter, who has been accused of beating and threatening the male victim during an assault that took place in a home. The assault reportedly began after a verbal argument between the two occurred. Carter, who is reported to have appeared agitated throughout the day, is reported to have repeatedly punched the victim in the face, causing fractures to his upper jaw and nose. The victim was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment. Carter has been charged with felony aggravated assault and terroristic threats. He has been placed in the Centre County Prison where bail has been set at $100,000. His preliminary hearing is slated for November 26th.
