A Tyrone man, 26-year-old Derek Wilson, faces 49 charges, including 14 felony counts of sexual abuse of children, and disseminating photo/film of child sex acts, following a police investigation that began in April 2024. Wilson was arrested after allegedly searching for, viewing, and uploading child pornography videos, with the investigation revealing a folder containing over 500 files. Wilson was arraigned yesterday, and released on $25,000 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 2nd.
