The Freedom Township Police Department will expand its service area to include Taylor Township starting December 1st under a new joint municipal agreement. The agreement allows Freedom Township police to handle all police-related calls in Taylor Township while an officer is on duty. According to Chief Nathan Claycomb, Taylor Township residents with emergencies should continue to call 911, and the call will be directed to the proper agency.
