Authorities in Blair County continue their search for a suspect in the abduction of a 6-month old York girl. The child was safely located on Wednesday evening, and no details as to where she was found have been released by authorities. The man suspected of taking her, 31-year-old Pedro Vega-Rivera is still at large. He reportedly abducted the child from the baby’s mother during a domestic dispute in York. His car was found last Wednesday evening in a wooded section in Duncansville, and Vega-Rivera was last seen fleeing on foot in that area. Police have issued an urgent alert for residents to exercise caution regarding Vega-Rivera, who is considered dangerous due to outstanding felony warrants from York County. Vega-Rivera is described as a white male, 5’7″ tall, weighing around 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The public is strongly advised not to approach him. Anyone who sees someone matching this description, or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911.
