A 22-year-old Saxton man is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a woman’s Vintondale Borough, Cambria County apartment, assaulting her, and making threats to kill her on November 19. State police report that Colton Bishop, was arrested following the 3:30 a.m. incident. The victim, who called 911, reported that she was asleep when she heard pounding on her door. Upon opening it, she found Bishop, who allegedly forced his way inside, and began his assault. Bishop has been placed in the Cambria County Prison where bail has been set at $125,000. He is facing charges that include terroristic threats, burglary and strangulation. His preliminary hearing is slated for December 8th.
