Blair County’s 2026 preliminary budget includes a 0.25-mill property tax increase, bringing the new rate to 5.133 mills. This increase is projected to generate about $2 million in new revenue to help address a budget deficit. The preliminary budget is available for review online, or in person. The budget is expected to be adopted on December 18th.
