Authorities in Jefferson County allege that John Oliver Jr., a former Greater Johnstown School District employee, is facing felony charges after he was accused of attempting to meet someone he believed was a teenage girl for sex. Police state that Oliver, allegedly engaged in a months-long online relationship with members of the 814 Pred Hunters group, who were posing as a 15-year-old girl, and was arrested after arranging a meeting. Reportedly, Johnstown school district officials have confirmed Oliver was previously employed as a cafeteria worker at the elementary school over two years ago. Oliver is facing charges that include criminal attempt charges for statutory sex assault and corruption of minors. He is currently being held in the Jefferson County Prison in lieu of bail.
