About 300-thousand people are expected to travel through Pittsburgh International Airport over the Thanksgiving period this year. That is up roughly 10-percent over the passenger volume at the travel hub for the holiday in 2024. The busiest air travel days are expected to be tomorrow and this coming Sunday. Leaders with the airport are asking passengers to keep an eye on flight statuses before arriving. Additional staff will be working at the airport this week to help guests with changes related to new parking areas and the new landside terminal.
