A pair of turkeys are set to be pardoned by President Trump in the Rose Garden today. The turkeys, named Gobble and Waddle, are staying at the Willard Hotel in Washington D.C. ahead of the ceremony. First Lady Melania Trump is also expected to take part in the annual tradition. The birds got their names after the first lady asked people to vote on a shortlist of possible names on X. Once pardoned, the birds will be sent to an animal sanctuary.
