Governor Josh Shapiro is promoting a statewide wage bonus plan aimed at attracting and retaining childcare workers. The governor visited a daycare in Verona yesterday to share details on the initiative. Through the program, providers that are subsidized by the state can apply for roughly 450 dollars in annual bonus payments for each employee. The applications will be opening within a few weeks.
