Two Altoona men, 40-year-old Garrett Ryan Miles, and 41-year-old Jaice Vernon Lindsey, were jailed after a third man was shot at the City Hall Commons apartment building following an argument, after watching college football. Altoona Police were called to the apartment building on December 6th for a reported shooting incident. The victim reportedly was shot in the spine and was later rushed to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Miles and Lindsey are facing charges that include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon, and other related counts. Both have been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of one million dollars. Their preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 17th.
