Centre Co., Man Charged With Possessing Child Porn

A Centre County man, Hunter Henney, is in custody following a multi-year investigation into allegations that he possessed and shared child sex abuse material on social media platforms.  The 22-year-old Howard man, faces nearly two dozen charges related to the case.  The investigation by Pennsylvania State Police began in 2021 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified authorities about reports of concerning images and videos being shared on Snapchat and Instagram.  Investigators linked the accounts to an address in Walker Township, where Henney resides.  Henny has been placed in the Centre County Prison where bail has been denied.  He faces a preliminary hearing on December 17^th.
