With the arrival of this year’s holiday season, our latest “Local Song of the Week” is another holiday song creation by Lilla Jul Rockeband, the Christmas rock band featuring students from Millersville University’s Clair Brothers Music Business Technology program; which is part of the Tell School of Music! Created in 2023, “Winter Holiday” is a holiday season reimagining of Slade’s 1984 hit song “Run, Runaway.” The song and video celebrate the joy of schoolchildren as they are released from the classroom to enjoy the holiday break! The music is performed and sung by Lilla Jul Rockeband, with backing help from some of the kids. Also appearing in the video are some Lancaster area townspeople, and Meteorologist TJ Springer from WGAL Television in Lancaster!
