A State College man who posed as a babysitter to access vulnerable children, has been sentenced to serve 30 years in federal prison for producing child porn. Authorities say 30-year-old William Welsh used personal contacts two years ago to present himself as a babysitter, which allowed him to be alone with toddlers who were nonverbal, and or autistic. Reportedly, Welsh later admitted to a friend he had sexually abused at least one of the children in his care. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Welsh was sentenced on December 11th.
