Walmart and Sam’s Club are rolling out a new ‘Eye Bot’ kiosk service for customers in need of exams.  Pennsylvania will serve as a test market, with the kiosks being available at 12 Walmart vision centers and four Sam’s Club Optical Centers across the state.  The specific Walmart locations in Pennsylvania involved in this pilot program are: Du Bois, Edinboro, Erie, Hamburg, Hanover, Hazle Township, Hermitage, King of Prussia, Kittanning, Oxford, Taylor, and York.  Four Sam’s Club locations in Pennsylvania are also part of this pilot program: Butler, Erie, Hanover, and Washington.  Customers can use the service to get an eye exam in 15 minutes, and Walmart’s Regional Health and Wellness Director said the tool will help “serve customers and members more efficiently.” Sam’s Club members are eligible for free exams, cost at Walmart is 25-dollars.
