Man Accused Of Killing Two Penned Does

A 21-year-old Mifflin County man has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed two penned deer in Cass Township, Huntingdon County.  Charged after the 2024 shooting was Preston McConaughey.  Reportedly, McConaughey admitted to shooting the deer and has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, possession of a weapon, recklessly endangering another person, and other related counts.  He has been placed in the Huntingdon County Prison in lieu of bail.  He is to face a preliminary hearing on December 24^th.
