U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright was in Pennsylvania yesterday as work continues to prepare Reactor One at Three Mile Island for reopening. The reactor is being rebuilt as the Crane Clean Energy Center, which is expected to power data centers run by Microsoft once it opens in 2027. Wright called the project a “poster child of the Trump administration’s agenda.” The Energy Secretary said they’re going to “make an investment climate” so large, American technology companies can build all the data centers they want and have reliable electricity to power them.
