A Sunday afternoon fire in Altoona’s Greenwood neighborhood has displaced a family of three and their new puppy, destroying their home and all personal belongings. The Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 1800 block of Bellmeade Drive around 1:00 p.m. yesterday. The fire is reported to have started in the garage. Fortunately no one was injured. An investigation us underway.
