After a month-long search, thirty-one-year old Pedro Luis Vega-Rivera, was arrested in Columbus, Ohio, last week for the November 14 kidnapping of a 6-month-old girl in York. The child, who was considered at high risk after being taken by force during a domestic dispute, was safely recovered the day after the abduction, in Duncansville. Police report that Vega-Rivera took the infant, made verbal threats toward the child and fled. Later his car was found abandoned in Duncansville, and the child was found safely. In York, he is facing felony strangulation and other charges related to this case.
