Sixty-one-year-old Lori Oldham of Nanty Glo, was arrested on December 12th after allegedly threatening neighbors and police with a knife during an intoxicated disturbance. According to authorities, Oldham was seen brandishing a weapon near Davis and Lloyd Streets while shouting claims that children were in danger. When confronted, Oldham reportedly dropped, and then retrieved a large knife, turning toward an officer in an aggressive manner. Police noted she appeared irate and smelled of alcohol; following her disarming, she allegedly resisted arrest and kicked an officer. Oldham is currently held at the Cambria County Prison on $50,000 bail following a mental health evaluation. She faces several charges, including felony aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and possession of an instrument of crime.
