A convicted sex offender from California was sentenced this week to 75 to 150 years in prison for the sexual assault of an Altoona teenager. According to the Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry, 44-year-old Don Robison, of Milpitas, CA, traveled across the country to Blair County after posing as a 13-year-old child to groom the victim online. Investigators stated that Robison eventually broke into the girl’s home to carry out the assault. In February, a jury found Robison guilty of multiple charges, including, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault on a child, and burglary. During the sentencing, Robison—a repeat offender already registered as a sex offender in California—was officially designated a “sexually violent predator.”
