For the 16th consecutive year, the Centre County Commissioners have adopted a budget with no tax increase. The final 2026 fiscal plan, totaling nearly $120 million, remains largely unchanged from the previously presented tentative version. By utilizing reserve funds, and leveraging increased revenue from local development, the county will maintain its millage rate of 7.840 despite rising operational costs.
