First Night State College will welcome in the New Year with its yearly celebration beginning today. Featured will be live music, delicious foods, a 5K race, and of course 85 ice sculptures, of which the event is known for. The family friendly festivities will take place throughout downtown State College from noon until 9:30 p.m. Admission to indoor performances such as live music, is granted with a First Night Button, available for $15, at various locations throughout State College.
