Pennsylvania lawmakers are responding to the U.S. attack on Venezuela and capture of President Nicolas Maduro. Republican Congressman Lloyd Smucker praised the military action, calling Maduro a “narcoterrorist who has led an oppressive dictatorship.” The operation was blasted by Democratic Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan, who called it a “naked and reckless attempt to enrich the already rich, and to distract the American public.” Houlahan said the Trump Administration needs to attack increasingly high prices, an unstable economy, and the healthcare crisis.
