JANUARY 4 – A Visit to the Mailboxes: After a string of guests and specials to close out 2025, we start off New Year 2026 with lots of new music! We visit the program’s mailboxes to unveil new recordings we have received in recent weeks! Hear new songs from Matt Smolko, HotWingJones, Jae Smith, Memory Collector, The Austens, King’s Ransom, Chip & the Charge Ups, Balistic and more!
JANUARY 11 – Man In Reverse: We welcome our first in-studio band guests on 2026, rising area heavy rockers Man In Reverse! We’ll learn about this group and their story, discuss their aggressive and rigid blend of metal and metalcore, and hear several of their recorded original songs!
JANUARY 18 – Tim Woods: We’ll be joined via phone by Tim Woods of western PA’s prolific musical Woods family! An accomplished lifetime musician whose career spans nearly five decades, Tim has grown his own distinctive style of music rooted in delta blues and southern music, releasing four albums along the way – and he’s also the father of Derek Woods (Derek Woods Band) and Ryan Woods (Habatat)! Tim will update us on his career, and we’ll debut his new single and hear several of his other song creations!
JANUARY 25 – Return to the Mailboxes: We’ll continue to check the show’s mailboxes and hear from more new local and regional music recordings that have arrived recently! New songs will again be the focus of this week’s program!
