Two of the four men charged in a Centre County child sex abuse investigation appeared in court yesterday morning. Preliminary hearings for Tyrone residents, Samuel Friday—the alleged ringleader—and co-defendant Morris Reese, were postponed and are expected to be rescheduled for later this month. Investigators allege that Friday paid multiple minors for sexual acts on his property, with some evidence dating back to the 1990s. Reese is accused of being one of three additional participants in the abuse ring. During the proceeding, Friday maintained his innocence, stating he “did nothing wrong,” and requested a new attorney from the judge.
