Pennsylvania State Police are making security preparations for the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. PSP officials landed a helicopter at Point State Park earlier in the week as they get ready for the April event. Troopers say they are becoming familiar with the layout of the area and are testing communication systems ahead of the draft. A spokesperson with Pittsburgh’s emergency management office says PSP and many other law enforcement agencies are running their own training as the Steel City gets ready to host over half-a-million guests.
