The community is invited to honor and say goodbye to former Sheetz president and CEO, Steve Sheetz, who passed away on January 4 at age 77. A public visitation will be held on January 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Steven A. Adler Athletic Complex on the Penn State Altoona Campus, followed by a public service on January 24 at 10 a.m. at the Blair County Convention Center, in which attendees are encouraged to honor Steve by wearing colorful clothing. The Sheetz family suggests donations to local charities, as a tribute to Steve’s legacy. Funeral arrangements reportedly are being handled by the Good Funeral Home in Altoona.
