A 29-year-old Bedford man identified as Leslie Ray Hoover, is in custody after allegedly pointing a revolver at a family during a road rage encounter on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Saturday.  According to state police, the incident began when a driver flashed his lights at Hoover’s slow-moving Chevrolet Malibu in the left lane and eventually passed him. Hoover allegedly retaliated by speeding up and pointing a .22 revolver at the victim’s vehicle, which contained two adults and two children.  State police intercepted Hoover near Breezewood.  Hoover is facing numerous charges including felony possession of a firearm, terroristic threats, and other related counts.  He has been placed in the Bedford County prison in lieu of bail.
