A 34-year-old Clearfield man is facing charges after a domestic disturbance on Tuesday morning left him covered in laundry detergent, and in police custody. According to Clearfield Regional Police, officers arrived at a home on Bowes Street to find Ryan Held standing nude in the kitchen, reportedly covered in liquid laundry soap. The victim told authorities that Held had been acting erratically for several hours before the situation escalated, resulting in Held allegedly striking her with a frying pan. When questioned by officers regarding his state of undress, Held reportedly stated that “he can do what he wants” because “he pays for everything.” The investigation revealed that Held, who was already on probation, has a history of drug use. After refusing multiple orders to dress himself for a court-ordered blood draw, Held was forcefully taken into custody and transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield. While at the medical facility, police say he undressed again, exposing himself to hospital staff and visitors. Held is currently jailed on misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure, and disorderly conduct.
