State lawmakers and industry leaders are reviewing how Pennsylvania regulates hemp. The discussion followed a public hearing yesterday focused on the 2018 federal Farm Bill. That law legalized hemp but also created loopholes that allowed the sale of hemp-derived products without much oversight. Lawmakers pointed to changes passed by Congress in November that tighten THC limits, and give businesses a one-year compliance period.
