A 35-year-old Gallitzin man identified as Joshua Stevens is in custody following a monthslong investigation into allegations of repeated child sexual assault and exposure to pornography. According to state police in Ebensburg, the investigation began last August after a young boy reported to his mother that Stevens had been abusing him for several years. The victim told authorities that the abuse began when he was six years old and included multiple instances of inappropriate touching. Investigators also allege that Stevens forced the child to view pornography, which the victim referred to as “sex TV.” The boy further stated that Stevens would often attempt to bribe him with puppets or games following the alleged acts. Stevens was arrested on New Year’s Eve and faces several charges, including, felony corruption of minors, indecent assault, and other related counts. He has been placed in the Cambria County Prison in lieu of bail.
