A second-alarm fire heavily damaged the Bombshell Salon in Rush Township, Centre County yesterday morning, forcing the business to close indefinitely. Fire crews from Philipsburg and Houtzdale-Ramey responded to the 9 a.m. blaze on Tyrone Pike, (Route 350) which temporarily shut down the highway in both directions. While the building sustained significant smoke and burn damage, the salon confirmed on social media that no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by a fire marshal.
