Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro announced yesterday that shortly after his budget address on Tuesday, the state House advanced a bill to raise the minimum wage in the state to $15 per hour. If passed to law, this would more than double the current minimum wage in the state, which is $7.25. The proposed bill is now up for consideration before the full chamber.
