“Superloads” To Once Again Move Through Area

PennDOT has issued warnings regarding the transport of massive windmill blades and turbine parts through Central Pennsylvania, specifically affecting Blair and Cambria Counties.  These shipments are part of the construction for the Highand North Wind Farm near Beaverdale in Summerhill Township, Cambria County.  Shipments are planned for today, tomorrow and next Monday, starting from Clearfield County this morning.  The components will travel on I-80 to I-99, then use Exit 23 to Routes 164 and 2010.  These superloads will move slowly, occupying two lanes, and causing traffic delays and stoppages.  Drivers are urged to use alternative routes.
