A New York man identified as 45-year-old Jorge Rodriquez is facing charges of terrorisitc threats following a violent dispute with an Altoona mother and son at her local residence on Tuesday evening. According to the Altoona Police, officers arrived at the 300 block of Cherry Avenue after a 911 caller reported a physical altercation. Both the mother and son reported that Rodriquez threatened them with a gun, and later brandished a sword. Rodriquez has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. His preliminary hearing has been set for February 18th.
