FEBRUARY 1 – A Visit to the Mailboxes: We start off February with more new music, as we visit the program’s mailboxes to unveil new recordings we have received in recent weeks! Hear new songs from Jimmy Mowery, The Heartstrings, Ethan Eckenroad, Colebrook Road, Olivia Farabaugh, Silver Screen, Audiobox, Radio 45, Wax Mekanix and more!
FEBRUARY 8 – One Acre West: Musical guests join us this week, as Steve and Kristi Jean Branstetter plus Lance Burgess from new State College Americana and alt-country group One Acre West visit the studio! They’ll tell us about the group and its beginnings and discuss their self-titled debut album! We’ll hear songs from the album, plus they’ll bring instruments and play a couple of songs for us!
FEBRUARY 15 – Balistic: We’ll be joined via phone by members of Hershey-based progressive-metal band Balistic! Balistic recently released their first album of new music in two decades, “The Parson’s Tale.” The group will take us inside this theatrical metal music odyssey and how it was created, plus we’ll hear songs from it!
JANUARY 25 – Return to the Mailboxes: We’ll continue to check the show’s mailboxes and hear from more new local and regional music recordings that have arrived recently! New songs will again be the focus of this week’s program!
